That day in 2000, the late great Kobe Bryant Shaquille O’Neal threw an iconic alley to end the Los Angeles Lakers’ comeback.

The Lakers rallied from 13 points early in the fourth quarter to beat the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals (89-84).

According to ESPN Stats & Info, this is the biggest deficit at the beginning of the fourth quarter that was overcome in an NBA playoff win in Game 7.

Bryant and O’Neal scored 43 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists.

The Lakers defeated the Indiana Pacers 4-2 in the NBA final and won their first championship since 1988.
