According to reports, the Dallas Mavericks “may” sign Frank Nillikina
The Dallas Mavericks may become the next destination for former New York Knicks guard Frank Nillikina. according to Mark Stein, The Mavericks are likely to sign the French defender.
The New York Knicks selected Ntilikina with the 9th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He spent four seasons in New York, averaging 19.5 minutes per game, averaging 5.5 points, 36.6 percent shooting and 2.7 assists per game.
Over the years, Ntilikina has seen his role become smaller and smaller. Last season, he withdrew from the Knicks rotation under the leadership of the new head coach Tom Thibodeau.
As a result, he became an unrestricted free agent last summer. Facts have proved that his defensive ability is very useful for Dallas. However, the Frenchman must improve his offensive performance to become an important part of the playoffs team.
