Allen Iverson led the Philadelphia 76ers to a 97-85 home win thanks to his outstanding defensive performance. The win gave them a 2-1 lead in their first round against Orlando Magic.

Iverson was spectacular at both ends of the courses, ending with 33 points, five assists, five rebounds and two blocks to accompany his 10 steals.

The 10 steals remain a Post-season game record.

Iverson scored 37 points in game 4 and led the Sixers to a win in the series. They were then swept up in the second round by the Indiana Pacers, despite Iverson’s excellent game.

In eight postseason games this year, he averaged 28.5 points and 2.5 steals per game. He led the league in both points and steals per competition.
