Anthony Davis helped the Los Angeles Lakers escape TD Garden with a big win over rivals Boston Celtics (96-95).
Davis had 27 points and 14 rebounds in the competition and explained why the Lakers had added motivation in the game.
The Lakers big man said the defending champions wanted to avoid a third loss on the road. They also wanted “revenge” after losing in Boston last season.
“Anthony Davis said the Lakers’ damn sure would not lose a third game in a row and they were motivated to get blown out in Boston last season,” said Lakers Nation’s Matthew Moreno.
