The Houston Rockets superstar, Russell Westbrook, tested the novel corona virus positively when he announced it on social media. He can’t travel to Orlando with the team until he’s cleared up.
“Before my team left for Orlando, I tested positive for COVID-19. I currently feel good, quarantined, and look forward to returning to my teammates when I’m free. Thank you for the good wishes and continued support. Please take it seriously. Be sure. Mask yourself! #whynot, ”Westbrook tweeted.
Russ scored an average of 27.5 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists per game for the Rockets this season. Houston is currently sixth in the Western Conference with 40 wins and 24 losses and has already qualified for the playoffs.
The Rockets will continue the season on August 1 with a game against the Dallas Mavericks. Before that, they will play three scrimmage games against the Raptors (July 24), Grizzlies (July 26) and Celtics (July 28).
