Bulls’ Coby White has all-star potential, according to NBA insiders
Coby White has had many ups and downs during his rookie season, but he definitely belongs to the NBA. In his first year with the Chicago Bulls, White showed some really interesting features of his talent.
Especially after the all-star weekend, the rookie guard exploded with an average of 24.7 points at 46% before the season paused due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to NBA insider Tom Haberstrohwho joined him the latest installment of the Bulls Talk podcastWhite has the potential to be an all-star point guard in the future, comparing it to the Sacramento Kings Guard De’Aaron Fox.

“He was really strong, as a teenager in the NBA, I didn’t think he had that last outbreak in me. I think he had problems early just to get his feet wet. I don’t think the players gave him that – or lineup alignments helped a lot, but man, he was great, and I think he looked a lot like De’Aaron Fox, a guy who’s only explosive, a guy who’s fast and fast and plays in a system in that you just want to give him the ball and let him run.
“I’m not sure yet if he’s at Russell Westbrook level, but I think potential all-star is what I would say for Coby White. If you’re in the league in which you only have that instinct To score such a hit is the size – and it will fill it – the speed. It just reminds me of De’Aaron Fox and he’s not an all-star yet, but he’s still very young in the league if you talk about a 19 year old who is able to do the things that Coby White did, he has a very bright future. “
