Caris LeVert led the Nets to a key victory
Caris LeVert scored 34 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 118-110 victory over the Washington Wizards.
This victory puts the Nets ahead of the Wizards in the Eastern Conference playoffs by seven games. Washington will have to close the gap with four games to force a series of games against Brooklyn.
The Nets have dried up, but there are still three core players in LeWitt, Joe Harris and Jarrett Allen. All three were outstanding today. LeWart had 7 rebounds and 34 points. Joe Harris had 27 points and 7 rebounds. Jarrett Allen scored 22 points and 15 rebounds. He attempted all 10 free throws.
Thomas Bryant contributed 30 points and 13 rebounds for the Wizards, but it was not enough.
The game was ranked 100 at 5:26 in the fourth quarter, but the Nets ended the game with a score of 18-10.
The Nets’ next game will be against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. This may be a preview of the playoffs, because if the season ends today, they will meet in the first round.
