Carmelo Anthony of the Portland Trail Blazers believes that the 2021 NBA All-Star Game should not be included in the NBA calendar this season.
The Trail Blazers forward disagreed with the proposal to hold the All-Star Game in March during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I don’t think it’s right. I don’t think we need it now. It would be good to recognize those who are selected as All-Stars…. But I just think it’s a little too much in a short time,” Anthony told reporters.
According to reports, the NBA and NBPA have agreed to host the 2021 NBA All-Star Game in Atlanta on March 7. Several players, including LeBron James and Kemba Walker, opposed the idea of participating in the All-Star Game this season.
