The president of the NBPA and superstar of the Oklahoma City Thunder said this idea would help players use their platform as a mouthpiece for social reform.
“We’re just trying to keep shining light on the various social justice issues that people in our league talk about every day. People say that social justice will be on everyone’s lips in Orlando. These jerseys don’t work path.
The guys I spoke to were definitely excited. The reason why I am passionate and excited is that it gives the voiceless a voice. There is also an opportunity for guys to illuminate something they are passionate about. Otherwise, they might not have had an opportunity to express themselves, “said Paul said Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
