Corona virus testing for players traveling to Orlando begins. two suns test positive
As compulsory corona virus testing begins for players on teams traveling to Orlando, teams prepare for a significant number of positive tests.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, a Western Conference playoff team has had four positive results in the past few weeks.
Two Phoenix Suns players tested positive, causing the team to temporarily suspend voluntary training sessions at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum Duane Rankin from the Republic of Arizona.
Mikal Bridges, Elie Okobo, Frank Kaminsky, Dario Saric, Jevon Carter, Aron Baynes, Jalen Lecque and Cheick Diallo participated in these training sessions. So there is a possibility that the two positive tests come from this group of players.
The training camp starts on July 11th in Disney after all 22 teams have registered.
Players who take part in group training must test negative for corona virus at least twice when they arrive at Disney World.
During the two weeks prior to the Orlando trip, the teams will quarantine all players who have tested positive to ensure that they do not “bubble” it.
While statistics are on the side of healthy young NBA players who don’t get seriously ill from the coronavirus, there are no guarantees, as Wojnarowski notes.
