Damian Lillard makes headlines on NBA 2K21 soundtrack
Two unreleased songs by Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard will appear in the NBA 2K21 music score.
Last month, news revealed that Lillard will become the cover player of 2K21 on modern game consoles such as Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Zion Williamson (Zion Williamson) is the next-generation 2K21 cover player, which will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in the future.
2K said that the next version of 2K21 will add new music, increasing the total number of songs from 52 to 202.
The 2K21 soundtrack is named after “The Weekend” (The Weekend), “Lil Baby” (Lil Baby) and “The Strokes” (The Strokes) and other popular singers and Damian Lillard (Damian Lillard) new music. And named after Dame DOLLA.
“Being a cover character alone means a lot to me, but being a cover character and making my music part of the game is also a great achievement. Personally, I have introduced me to new artists that I might hear on the radio , Songs and genres, but I heard it first on NBA 2K,” Lillard said.
Alfie Brody, vice president of global marketing for NBA 2K, also talked about the importance of 2k music.
“Music has always been an integral part of NBA 2K, and every year we work hard to expand our approach to the player gaming experience. This year, we can pass a highly curated list of tracks powered by next-generation technology, and Damian Lillard’s The cover players add unreleased tracks and take the soundtrack to a whole new level; together they embody the NBA 2K21 theme-everything is a game.”
NBA 2k21 will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 4, and the soundtrack can now be listened to Spotify.
