Shams Charania said that when the NBA season restarts, Dwight Howard will play for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Howard has not been sure whether he will participate in the game. He decided to donate his salary for the rest of the season to the non-profit organization Breathe Again, which played a role in his decision to return.
Howard has been an important contributor to the Lakers’ bench this season. He averaged 7.5 points and 7.4 rebounds in only 19.2 minutes per game. Howard also shot a career-high 73.2% this season.
The Lakers will look for his continued performance in the playoffs.
