Emoni Bates is committed to Michigan State University
Emoni Bates, number 1 in the 2022 class, has committed to playing for Michigan State Spartans.
The 6 ″ 9 Small Forward, which today dedicated itself to the Spartans in a live interview for ESPN.
The 16-year-old Bates has 6 offers from different schools in Division 1, but decided to stay on site and join Coach Izzo and the Spartans. Duke, Michigan, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida State were the other scholarships for Bates.
The prospect has been described by some as the best high school player since LeBron James.
Bates was the winner of the Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year award in 2019. He was also the winner of the National Gatorade Award in 2020.
In his Freshman campaign, he scored an average of 28.5 points and 10.2 rebounds.
