Gabe Vincent von Heat has been named the best player in the G League
Miami Heat’s two-way player, Gabe Vincent, has been named the most improved player in the 2019-2020 NBA G League.
In 31 games, the uncovered player from UC UC Barbara scored an average of 20.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in the second year, while he shot 40.3 percent from three points.
Vincent played his first 20 games this season with the Stockton Kings and his last 11 games with Sioux Falls Skyforce, Heat’s G League subsidiary, after signing his two-way contract with Heat in January.
He appeared in six games for the heat.
Vincent scored at least 30 points six times this season, including a career high of 35 points against the South Bay Lakers on December 17 and Canton Charge on December 21.
He also played for Nigeria at the FIBA World Cup 2019, where he was the team’s second best scorer (11.4 points per game).
