Giannis Antetokounmpo says the statement “no access to a tire” was a trick
The Milwaukee Bucks are preparing to return to court in the Orlando bubble, hoping that they will win it all.
Giannis Antetokounmpo said in April that he had not played basketball during the NBA break. However, at his last media meeting in Orlando, the Greek freak admitted that the statement was a trick to gain a competitive advantage over the opponents.
“Anyone out there who thought I didn’t have access to a gym didn’t even know me,” said Antetokounmpo per Eric Woodyard from ESPN. “So I just said that to be a bit ahead of the competition.”
Before the season break, the Bucks superstar had won the second MVP prize of his career and achieved the best 29.6 points and 13.7 rebounds and 6 assists in 30.9 minutes per game.
He had led the goats to the top of the East for the second time in the past two seasons. The Milwaukee Bucks with Giannis in top basketball form are obviously one of the favorites to emerge from the Eastern Conference and even win the NBA title in the Orlando bubble.
