Giannis drops 30 when Bucks are knocked down by pelicans without Zion
The Milwaukee Bucks ended their series of scrimmage games with a 21-point loss (103-124) against the New Orleans Pelicans. Reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo had 30 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists, but it wasn’t enough to win.
Four players were absent for the bucks, the most notable of which is Eric Bledsoe, who is still in quarantine afterwards test positive for corona virus.
The pelicans, however, had to do without Zion Williamson. The 20-year-old rookie sensation had to leave the Orlando bladder last week because of an urgent family medical issue. Upon returning to Orlando, he is currently in quarantine.
JJ Redick led the scorers for New Orleans with 20 points. The 36-year-old veteran came off the bench and dropped 5/10 2-hand and 4/7 three-hand.
New Orleans will play Utah Jazz for the first official game since March 30 on July 30, while the Bucks will play Boston Celtics the next day.
