If Mike Woodson does not find a job with HC, he can return to the Knicks as an assistant

Stephen Bondi of New york daily news Friday reported that Woodson officially accepted the appointment of the vacant position this week and became the team’s head. If he eventually fails to find a job, he may eventually be hired as an assistant to the Knicks.

Woodson is currently an assistant coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. He coached the Knicks from 2012 to 2014 and entered the playoffs twice as a 109-79 (.580). Since Woodson left the team, this team has never won a championship.
