Former NBA player and wildcat from the University of Arizona, Jason Terry, has taken on an assistant coaching job with his alma mater.
Terry will leave his role as deputy GM of Texas Legends, the G League subsidiary of Dallas Mavericks.
Terry was ranked 10th overall in 1999 from Arizona and played for 19 years in the NBA. He spent most of his career with the Atlanta Hawks and Mavericks.
He won an NBA championship with the Mavericks in 2011 and the sixth man of the year in 2009.
Arizona is still awaiting NCAA sanctions against her after an FBI investigation almost jeopardized head coach Sean Miller’s work and forced him to fire an assistant coach.
