Former number two and current analyst Jay Williams believes the Houston Rockets have great potential and could do a deep playoff run. He shared his views on the Rockets’ chances in the playoffs after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks.
“If they are able to meet the Lakers in the Western Conference semi-finals, I like the Rockets’ chances,” Williams said on ESPNs Get Up. “The reason I don’t like their chances against the Clippers is that the Clippers have the versatility to turn everything on and protect people like Russ and James.”
“But with the Lakers, this larger line-up, consisting of small and small balls, can force the Lakers to play smaller and faster, and I think this will be a great advantage for James Harden and Russell Westbrook and his three-point shot team could. ”
