Jerry West has nothing more to say than Jerry Sloan, the NBA Hall of Fame coach who died on Friday.

West described Sloan as “relentless” both as a player and as a coach.

“At that time, hell, you can almost use two hands, which is almost like driving a car. Jerry is especially an old farmer, he is as strong as the ground. After playing with him, you have a lot of scratches on Ya.

I want to tell you two things about Jerry. As a player, this is ridiculous. He is ruthless. After the game, you will suffer a lot of bruises. If you want to make a layup, you will be in trouble.

He is as strong as hell, he hopes his team can reflect who he is, and this is what you get in the end. West told you that during his coaching, the game against the Utah Jazz will not be easy. Bill Oram (Sports).
