Alex Len became another Sacramento Kings player who tested positive for the novel corona virus. Buddy Hield was also found to be infected. The 27-year-old Ukrainian center released a statement expressing a desire to rejoin the kings for their playoff push.
“I was tested in Sacramento yesterday and found it positive for COVID-19. I want to thank the Sacramento Kings for their great care and the NBA for introducing the protocols so I can catch this year. I immediately went into isolation and am looking forward to being clarified and rejoining my teammates for our playoff push. “
Len came to Sacramento on February 6 through an Atlanta Hawks trade. He appeared in six games for the kings before the season was interrupted. The previous fifth draft pick averaged 6.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.
