According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Sacramento Kings’ assistant coach Igor Kokoskov has agreed to become Fenerbahce’s next head coach in Istanbul.

Kokoskov will replace the legendary Zeljko Obradovic, who separated from Fenerbahce after seven years as coach of the club.

The 48-year-old was Luke Walton’s best assistant to the Kings this season.

Kokoskov previously coached Slovenia to a 2017 EuroBasket title, led by Goran Dragic and Luka Doncic.

He was appointed head coach of Serbia last November.
