The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets are among the teams that have done background work for Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine.
The two teams monitor his situation if LaVine asks the cops to trade with his free agency. according to Ian Begley from SNY.tv..
The bulls have not yet found a long-term coaching option and have not been successful in surrounding LaVine with talent.
If the instability in Chicago continues, LaVine may feel like going somewhere else.
The cops would be open to trading him instead of losing him for nothing, Begley notes.
The 25-year-old scored an average of 25.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game this season.
The Knicks have seven picks for the first round in the next four drafts, as well as some young players who might be interesting for other teams.
The Nets, however, are on the market for another top player who will join a healthy Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving next season.
