Kyle Kuzma admits that Lakers’ difficulty connecting and building chemistry could “hurt” their championship aspirations
Kyle Kuzma talked about the Lakers chemistry this season and how it could affect their championship goals.
Kuzma admitted that the Covid-19 rules and NBA protocols made it difficult for the Lakers to bind and build their chemistry, especially off the ground.
“Obviously it’s still a mental burden. Everyone is locked in their room and it’s still a pandemic out here. This is no excuse to lose at all, but every day, human life, yes, sure, it will always be a mental burden.
There isn’t too much attachment. Obviously, the NBA has very, very strict regulations in place to keep everyone safe. Obviously we have our little contact tracking bells and we are just safe and careful.
You don’t want to be with too many people. You see, a team like Washington has to postpone games, six, seven, eight people in the organization (infected) that would hurt you. Especially when you have championship goals, ”Kuzma told reporters about Lakers Daily.
Despite their efforts to find extrajudicial chemistry, Kuzma and the Lakers are third in the West at 16-6.
