LA Clipper’s star Lou Williams is under investigation by the NBA
According to US media reports, NBA players Lou Williams is being investigated by the league for alleged visit to a strip club after it left the Disney World Coronavirus bladder to attend a funeral.
The 33-year-old Clippers was given permission to leave the Orlando resort, where NBA athletes live and work during the outbreak of the U.S. COVID-19, after the death of a friend’s father.
According to US media reports, Williams was pictured drinking and wearing an NBA mask at the Magic City Strip Club in Atlanta on Thursday evening.
The photo published on the Instagram account of American rapper Jack Harlow was then deleted.
Williams told the NBA that he attended dinner there after the funeral, ESPN said.
On his official Twitter account, he tweeted on Saturday: “Ask one of my teammates what my favorite restaurant in Atlanta is. Nobody celebrates. Relax lol. “
He also retweeted the praise from Magic City and the people who defend it.
The league is trying to determine where else Williams may have been to determine the duration of its quarantine.
Upon returning, he will observe four days of isolation – with daily COVID-19 tests – and a possible quarantine extension based on medical advice.
On Saturday, coach Doc Rivers, who was apparently upset before the game in Washington, said: “I can’t say much about his trip. I wasn’t with him”
