Lakers GM Rob Pelinka goes into the similarities between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James
LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to their 18th title and for the first time in ten years since Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol defeated the Boston Celtics in the 2010 NBA Finals.
Rob Pelinka, general manager of the Lakers, joined “The Woj Pod with Adrian Wojnarowski and spoke of the similarities between Kobe and LeBron.
(about SB nation)
“What’s interesting about these two players, LeBron and Kobe, is that I don’t think either of them was satisfied or scored a goal.” I mean, both LeBron and Kobe are only about one thing and that is the winning titles. And the similarities in their approach of just being insane when it comes to doing anything to win championships is everything to these two. “
James’ work ethic is similar to Bryant’s as both are talents of the generation that made their mark on the league over the years. The 2020 MVP Final has the chance to win more titles with the Lakers and continue Bryant’s legacy in Lakeland after the Lakers legend tragically passed last January.
Here you can hear Rob Pelinka’s interview on Woj Pod about the Lakers title in Orlando and the upcoming off-season.
