LaMelo Ball reflects on the first career start at Charlotte Hornets
LaMelo Ball spoke about his first start in his career with Charlotte Hornets’ win over the Miami Heat on Monday night. James Borrego put the ball on the starting grid after Terry Rozier was out with an ankle injury.

“I don’t even see it that way,” said Ball after the game. “This is a different game and (I) just play basketball. Whenever I get out of there I try my best. It’s like a different game.”
The Hornets made an epic comeback in the final 2:47 of regulation as they returned from a 10-point deficit to beat the Heat in overtime.
Despite not shooting the ball well, the Hornets rookie filled his stats with 14 points, seven assists and five rebounds to help his team win the second game in a row.
“I mean, whenever we win, no matter how I play, I’ll have a good time. I love winning and we have that tonight so I’m going out happy.”
