LaMelo Ball is generally considered the top 5 choice in the upcoming 2020 NBA draft. It is not yet known which team will choose him, but his father LaVar wants it to be the New York Knicks. According to him, the Knicks need something that could happen to them, and drawing Melo would be the right thing.

He also said that the design of his youngest son would give New York to his middle son, LiAngelo, who has recently signed with the G League site Oklahoma City Blue. Ball has long said that his goal is to get all of his three sons into the NBA, ideally all one and the same team. He thinks the Knicks could be this team.

“You have nothing,” LaVar threw on the Knicks Say less with Kaz with Kazeem Famuyide. “The last time they won a championship in the 70s. The bright lights. They need a whole new turn there. … If you get Melo, you get Gelo! … You don’t need a person to change a franchise You need all the cultural change and that needs all three of my boys… That would be the biggest show in the NBA that ever existed. ”
