LeBron James, the star of the Los Angeles Lakers, says he will have his name “James” on the back of his shirt when the NBA restarts.

James also said that he “would like to have a say in what the options are” and that he “is fine that it didn’t happen the way people know about his mission” Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.

“I recommend anyone who decides to stick something on the back of their jersey.” James said about Dave McMenamin from ESPN. “It’s just something that doesn’t really match my mission, my goal. I wanted to have a say in what would have happened on the back of my shirt.”

The Lakers are playing three scrimmages before the eight “seeding games”.

Their opponents are the Dallas Mavericks (July 23), Orlando Magic (July 25) and Washington Wizards (July 27).
