LeBron James responds to Laker’s loss to Raptors
The Los Angeles Lakers were lost to reigning champion Toronto Raptors between 92 and 107 in the second seeding game in Orlando. It was the second loss to Toronto this season for Purple and Gold.
After the game, LeBron James, who had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists, spoke about the loss. The 35-year-old superstar pointed to a poor 3-point percentage of the Lakers. He also paid tribute to the Raptors, saying that last season they won the title not just because of Kawhi Leonard.
“You execute your offense to get the best shot, and we did that tonight. And we went 10 for 40 from the 3-point line. I think a lot of these 40 threes look great, ”said James via Kyle Goon.
“I mean, they won a championship for a reason. And it wasn’t just about Kawhi, and obviously you can see that, ”LeBron attributed to the Raptors their victory.
Despite the defeat, Los Angeles remains at the top of the Western Conference and is a very strong position to secure the first seed in the West for the playoffs.
