Mark Cuban reveals his favorite Kristaps Porzingis
Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, is happy to add Kristaps Porzingis to his team. After joining the Mavericks through a Knicks deal in 2019, the Latvian forward became the team’s leader.
Cubans like many things about Porzingis, such as his professional ethics and making the team exceed personal performance. However, for the Mavericks owner, the first thing is KP’s ability to improve the game at a critical juncture.
Through Steve Serby of the New York Post:
“I really like KP. He loves basketball. He works hard. He wants to be one of the best players in the game and invest his time. The most important thing is that he wants to win. He puts the data the team needs in statistics Before the data or personal honor, to help us win. What I like most about KP is that he has the extra level of all good players at a critical moment.”
This season Porzingis averaged 19.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Dallas will travel to Orlando to participate in the NBA season rematch. The Mavericks haven’t locked their position in the playoffs.
