Mark Cuban became the owner of Dallas Mavericks twenty years ago after acquiring a majority stake in the team for $ 285 million. Since then, the Mavs reached two NBA finals in 2006 and 2011 and won the team’s only championship so far in 2011. Dallas became one of the elite teams in the entire league.

But there were some things Cubans regret. The largest of them released the team’s star, Steven Nash, in 2004. “Let Steve Nash go [to the Suns as a free agent in 2004]”Said the Cuban Steve Serby of the New York Post.

After leaving Dallas Nash, he won two NBA MVP titles in 2005 and 2006. He and the Suns also beat the Mavericks in the second round of the 2006 playoffs.
