Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, spoke about the trade that brought Kristaps Porzingis to the team in 2019.

Cuban compared the Porzingis trade to that of James Harden, who left the Oklahoma City Thunder and joined the Houston Rockets in 2013.

“Very [shocked]. It happens in the NBA. It’s like the James Harden trade. James Harden was traded to the Rockets by OKC and I wonder, “Damn it, why didn’t we get that?” Just a phone call and the missiles said “yes”. And that was our call, “said the Cuban WFAN about the New York Daily News.

Porzingis had an average of 19.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists before the NBA suspension.
