Michael Jordan was caught in a refusal to play with Isiah Thomas
ESPN’s popular documentary series “The Last Dance” may be over, but the controversy it seems will only grow.
Sports writer Jack McCallum released his audio “Dream Team Audio Tape” Jordan said he will not play a podcast with Thomas in the 1992 Olympic team.
“Rod Thorne called me,” Jordan said. “I said,‘ Awesome, if Isiah Thomas is in the team, I will not participate in the game. ’He assured me. He said,‘ Do you know? [Coach] Chuck [Daly] Do not want Isaiah. Therefore, Isaiah will not join the team. ’”

The audio was recorded in 2011 when McCallum and NBA superstars wrote a book about the first Olympic team, which won a gold medal in Barcelona.
Thomas (Thomas) is a 12-time NBA All-Star player. He led the Detroit Pistons to back-to-back championship titles in 1989 and 1990, but he was excluded from 92 Olympic teams due to ulation tests.
Asked that Thomas was excluded from “The Last Dance”, Jordan denied any involvement.
“I respect the talent of Isiah Thomas. For me, the best point guard of all time is Magic Johnson, and behind him is Isiah Thomas.” No matter how much I hate him, I respect his game. . Now, this is suggesting that I am asking [for Thomas to be left off the team], But I never threw his name there. “
“You want to credit it to me, move on and be my guest. But this is not me,” Jordan said.
When asked to answer the dispute, Thomas said he was disappointed and he did not go to Barcelona to compete.
Thomas said in ESPN’s “Getting Up”: “I know the criteria for choosing a team.” “I meet all the criteria. This is a big hole in my resume. That’s the biggest hole in my resume.”
Jordan did not respond to the latest developments in the ongoing legendary event, which made the fan wonder if there is still time to resolve the issue in court.
