Michael Porter Jr. added career numbers to the Nuggets victory
The Denver Nuggets needed to win, and Michael Porter Jr’s professional performance allowed them to win.
When the Nuggets beat the Oklahoma State Thunder 121-113 in overtime, the second-year forward scored a career-high 37 points and added 12 rebounds.
After the game, Porter and Nuggets announcer Kyle Speller shared the secret of success.
“I just want to bring energy, and not worry about scoring or I just want to clear it all out. Little Porter said: “Every time I re-defense, spread the floor, walk to the corner, I know it will be good from there. Take care of yourself. I have been playing basketball, with Jokic, and Paul, it’s easy. All I have to do is try every game like tonight. “
“It’s easy to play with Jokic, Paul and them. All I have to do is to work hard for every game like tonight.”

This is a much-needed victory for the Nuggets, who stumbled during their previous outings.
The team missed three starts, but between Porter’s performance and Nikola Jokic’s 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists triple-doubles, they won.
“We just really wanted to pick it up from the last game. We didn’t feel that we put in 100% of the effort in the last game, and this situation will never, never will. So today, we Just want to leave everything there, and then we have a victory and a great game.
“It feels great. We need that. We lost a few games and lost the first real game, so it’s great for us to come here tonight and have a huge victory.”
Shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 24 points in 38 minutes.
OKC will not rest.
They faced the Lakers on Wednesday, while the Nuggets faced the San Antonio Spurs.
