NBA expands team lineup
The NBA plans to allow each team to bring up to 17 players into Orlando, thereby increasing the previous limit to 15.
This will most likely include 15 players under standard or 10-day contracts, as well as players on two two-way contracts previously spent in the G League.
In a normal season, two-way players can sit on the bench in the playoffs, but they cannot participate in these games.
It remains to be seen whether the two-way players can play a role in this season’s playoff games, or only in eight seed games.
In late June, a “trade window” will also be provided for the team so that they can move the roster.
When going to Orlando, it is still expected that the team can only participate in a travel party of about 35 people.
