The NBA has taught teams across the training camp’s timeline, including July 9-29 in Orlando, with three Intersquad scrimmages.

Players traveling outside of the United States must report to the team markets by June 15, while the rest of the players must arrive by June 22, Adrian Wojnarowski also notes.

The NBA also informed the teams that as of today up to two coaches / development staff can train a player, according to Shams Charania.

As of June 23, a team’s head coach can monitor a player’s training and be one of the two coaches that work with players.

The key expected restart dates of the NBA are as follows:

  • July 30-Aug 14: Seeding games
  • August 15-16: play-in tournaments
  • August 17: The playoffs begin
  • August 30: Family / guests from teams arrive
  • August 31 – September 13: Conf. Semi-finals
  • Sept. 15-Sept. 28: Conf. final
  • September 30 – October 13: NBA final

The target date for a possible game 7 of the NBA final is now October 13 instead of October 12.

All dates can change.

The Corona Virus Test window for teams required by the NBA will run from June 23-30.

The NBA and NBPA are still working on the details of an offseason program with camps, scrimmages and OTAs for the eight teams that are not involved in the restart of Orlando.

Marc Stein of The New York Times is currently negotiating health and safety protocols to restart the league.
