Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving will not join his team when the NBA season in Orlando resumes, as Nets general manager Sean Marks confirmed Irving, ESPN’s Malika Andrews reported.
The 28-year-old guard was operated on his injured shoulder at the end of the season in February. Previously, Irving had averaged 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game for the networks.
Brooklyn is one of the three Eastern Conference teams alongside Orlando and Washington that will fight for the last two playoff spots. The networks are currently 7th in the east with 30 wins and 34 losses.
