Patty Mills spoke about his decision to leave the San Antonio Spurs and sign with the Brooklyn Nets in the off-season.

Mills believes the time was right to leave Spurs and start a new chapter in his career after spending the last 10 years in San Antonio.

“I think it was an opportunity for me to turn a page into a new chapter. The conversation I had with Kevin [Durant] was so pure and so real that he could understand that he was such a pure hooper.

The familiar faces in the organization were very comfortable, especially my wife, ”said Mills of Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News and Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

Patty Mills agreed to a two-year deal with the Nets totaling $ 12 million, with the 2022-23 season being a player option.
