Paul George published some behind-the-scenes stories in Indiana before deciding to leave the Pacers in 2017.
George explained that the strongest striker in the league at the time wanted to play with him for the Pacers, but the team did not accept the All-Star request.
“They don’t want to do this… I called the agent, “‘Brother, let me leave here. They don’t want to win,” George said Player’s Tribune Knuckleheads podcast.
Paul George was eventually traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder that summer in exchange for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.
