Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics considered LeBron James “soft” according to former Celtic Ryan Hollins.
James and the Heat eliminated Pierce and the Celtics in Game 7 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals and won the title.
“That was our championship with which we could leave, until then LeBron was considered soft. We thought he wouldn’t show up in the fourth quarter, we thought he wasn’t the right guy, and if it got tight he wouldn’t be able to go out and play theater.
And if Paul Pierce could stay out of bad trouble, Paul was just as good at getting his own shot in clutch moments, ”said Hollins during his appearance on Scoop B radio podcast.
