Alvin Gentry said he would train the New Orleans Pelicans if the NBA resumed the season despite fears of the corona virus.

The Center for Disease Control has indicated that people aged 65 and over may have a higher risk of serious diseases from the coronavirus. Gentry turned 65 in November and is one of the three oldest coaches in the NBA.

“I’m going to be careful, but I’m going to be completely immersed in the issue from a competitive point of view and everything else.” Coronavirus concerns won’t stop me doing my job a bit, ”said Gentry, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
