Rik Smits threw a shot down when time ran out to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 94-93 home win over Orlando Magic. The win brought the final of the Eastern Conference to two games per game.
With 13.3 seconds still Reggie Miller hit a 3-pointer to give the Pacers a two-point lead.
Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway responded by pushing an unbalanced 3-pointer to give the magic a point advantage, but there was still time on the clock.
Indiana brought the ball to Smits, who pumped fake and then quietly threw a sweater on the summer.
Smits ends with 21 points for the Pacers, while Miller had 23. Hardaway ended at 26 for the Magic.
Despite the incredible win in Game 4, Orlando prevailed and won the series in seven games to reach the NBA final.
