Although JR Smith became a favorite To replace Avery Bradley on the Los Angeles Lakers squad when the season starts again, he apparently has to fight seriously for the place. Nick Young is also reportedly in talks with Purple & Gold.
One of Young’s best friends wrote on Instagram that the Lakers had contacted Swaggy P. The 35-year-old rifle guard played for the team from 2013 to 2017. The best season for Young was 2013-2014, when he averaged 17.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
After leaving Lakers in 2017, the Los Angeles native joined the Golden State Warriors and won his only championship with them in 2018.
Young has only played four NBA games since the 2018-2019 season when he joined the Denver Nuggets for twenty days in December.
