Russell Westbrook tested positive for coronavirus and felt good

the6man Jul 14

Russell Westbrook of the Houston Rockets announced on Monday afternoon through his personal Twitter account that he had a positive coronavirus test.

Westbrook said he felt pretty good, but he sent a strong message to his followers, asking them to “seriously” take the virus and “cover up”.

Any player who tests positive for coronavirus must take two negative tests before traveling.

The league also stipulates that players must undergo a two-day quarantine inspection after arriving in the Orlando bubble.

His Rockets teammates James Harden and Luc Mbah a Moute did not follow Orlando to Orlando.

A Westbrook with a star player who tested positive for the corona virus will cause more players to worry about Orlando’s NBA restart.

Westbrook averaged 27.5 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in his first season in Houston.

Houston won the playoffs and will play its first game against Dallas on July 31.
