Game-worn sneakers signed by Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Scottie Pippen can now be auctioned. It is the first time that a Jordan matching object from the Dream Team’s legendary gold medal campaign has been publicly offered.

The shoes, which were handed over to a Dream Team representative in the players’ dressing room, were worn during the qualifying tournament of the Tournament of Americas for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and signed by the above legends. The shoes – size 13 Air Jordan 7s worn by MJ, size 14 Converse Cons worn by Magic and a pair of size 15 Nike Air sneakers worn by Pippen – can currently be found at the Lelands 2020 Spring Classic Auction. The bid remains open until June 19.

The starting bid for the Jordan 7s started at $ 10,000 and was $ 17,716 at the time of writing, while the other two pairs started at $ 2,500.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these sneakers will go to COVID-19’s relief efforts.

According to a press release:

The auction also features a spectacular collection of photo, gaming equipment and rare high-end autograph cards from Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. The hobby-fresh Jordan and LeBron cards are among the rarest cards in circulation signed by “His Airness” and “The King”. Headlining the offering is a 2005-06 Upper Deck Exquisite Dual Number Pieces by Michael Jordan and LeBron James Patch Auto that was signed by both, a 2004-05 SP Authentic Dual Signatures #JJ Michael Jordan and LeBron James Auto 2/25, a 2003-04 LeBron James Rookie Collection and a 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie Card PSA Mint 9.

Additional Jordan equipment on sale includes a pair of 1981-82 University of North Carolina-signed sneakers, a 1994 Chicago White Sox pre-match jersey, and Sox bracelets.
