Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are stepping up their communities and holding a protest against unity in Oakland on Wednesday.
Damion Lee and Kevin Looney are one of the other members of the Warriors.
Many athletes around the world are using their platforms to peacefully protest and participate with many others.
Golden State chess player Juan Toscano-Anderson organized the event. They walked around Lake Merritt. There, the Warriors held the most recent championship parade.
Toscano-Anderson said: “No matter what the skin color, how much income you get, it doesn’t matter what education you have.” We are all human beings. “
“There are people around the world who are oppressed. We are just taking a step in the right direction and starting to do something-me and my children, my brothers. Thank you for being here.”
The Warriors have always been united, and head coach Steve Kerr has stepped up efforts to unite his team.
Unity is nothing new for this team, they proved it on Wednesday.
