Thunder reopening training facility that is allowed to perform coronavirus tests

The Oklahoma City Thunder have opened their practice facility, the Thunder Ion, for voluntary, individual workouts.

According to Royce Young from ESPN, players are expected to be in the gym today.

The Thunder has also received approval to conduct coronavirus testing on players or employees entering the building.

Their statement suggests that they will be able to test those who are asymptomatic without adversely affecting the needs of the community.

The Thunder are the 17th team known to reopen their practice facility to a limited extent.

Along with the thunder, the last teams that did this publicly were the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans pelicans.
