Zach LaVine believes the Chicago Bulls will not be a successful culture unless they change their identity.
LaVine said it was ultimately up to the players on the pitch to get the franchise back on the road to success.
“I think it starts with us as a player. We are the ones on the pitch. Obviously, they’ll go out there and do their job and do the best they can and work their butts off.
But we have to keep going outside and growing. We cannot continue to make the same mistakes. We have to change our identity and how we are viewed as a team to become a successful culture. We had high expectations for this year and it wasn’t.
I think we did very well. I think we are one of the hardest playing teams in the NBA. But you need the W. We have to get better, ”the Bulls star said about Sam Smith from Bulls.com.
Chicago (22-43) is one of eight teams that will not travel to Orlando to start the season again.
