The team said in a statement that the rookie forward Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans is back in the Orlando bubble.
Williamson (Williamson) left the campus environment on July 16, due to a family medical emergency, and now he will be able to enter the NBA quarantine period before he can rejoin the team.
When he was away, Williamson was tested for COVID-19.
After taking this precautionary measure, Williamson now only needs to quarantine for four days, but the league has not officially announced it.
If he only needs to quarantine for four days, Williamson can play in the Pells Open against the Utah Jazz on Thursday.
Williamson said in a panel statement: “My family and I are grateful for everyone’s love and respect for us in our private family affairs.”
